Emergency wasp treatment in Ellesmere Port - August 2023

Today in Ellesmere port CH66 we attended an emergency call out for a wasp treatment. The customer had no idea where the wasp nest was but had experienced 50 plus wasps in several rooms so knew this was no normal summer accidental visitor. We started by doing a couple of loops round the property. Its easy to check on a warm sunny day, if you have a wasp nest they are very easy to spot when you know what you are looking for. You want to see a few wasps coming and going from one particular spot or entry hole a minute to confirm to yourself that there is in fact a wasp nest. Once we found the nest entry spot on the second story under the soffits it would usually be a straight forward case of getting the ladders out and injecting the entry hole with a powdered insecticide which would kill the nest off within about 2 hours after all the wasps (who are out and about hunting and collecting nest building materials and annoying pub gardens and picnics and other waspy things) return from their raiding mission and die off in the powder. Unfortunately on this occasion a pond and a conservatory prevented me from a quick treatment outdoors so I put on my wasp suit and proceeded to the attic which was not boarded and crawled across the roof beams to find the nest in the soffits and treat by torchlight. The customer was very appreciative and had a cold squash waiting when I came back down and text just an hour after we left to confirm that no more wasps where buzzing around. Today Pestforce Ellesmere Port have been out to several pest control jobs. We have been working with a drain survey expert as we identified that rats were entering the walls attic and underfloor area of a children’s home most likely through the gutter. Relocating bees in Ellesmere Port - 28th May 2021

Rat infestation in Ellesmere Port - 23rd April 2021

This week Pestforce Ellesmere Port continued work on a series of properties for a Rat infestation. The problem has been on a row of terraced newbuilds built on what used to be a farmers field. Every house had the same problem where the Rodents had been entering the building by burrowing along the building brickwork and behind the gas and electric boxes to get into the cavity walls and subsequently into the attics. Rat control for bungalow in Ellesmere Port - 9th April 2021

Customer had reported rat activity in a bungalow that they had recently moved in to. I attended on a same day emergency call out and I was out in a matter of hours. Upon doing a survey of the house the activity In the attic was more consistent with a squirrel problem. Squirrel problems in the loft or a common problem. The squirrels had chewed through the beam supporting the roof, clean through! So they can do a lot of damage not just to wood but they can chew through ELECTRIC WIRES, pvc and even copper pipes. Mice control in Ellesmere Port, CH66 - 4th April 2021

This week we have attended an address in Ellesmere Port with a mice infestation. Droppings had been seen in the store cupboard. Wasps in Ellesmere Port, CH65 - 27th March 2021

Been to our first Wasp nest call out of the year in Ellesmere Port today. Its is still a little early for wasps but a period of mild weather has given them an early start.
