Pestforce Worcester Tackles Wasp Nest and Fly Infestation in Attic - November 2023

Pestforce Worcester was promptly called to a residence in WR2 Worcester, where a wasp nest and fly problem plagued the attic. Although the wasp nest was located in an air vent, inaccessible from the attic, our team adeptly treated the flies by fogging the attic and addressed the wasp issue externally. The client was immensely relieved by our ability to swiftly and effectively resolve these challenges.

Insect identification in Worcester, WR5 - 2nd July 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a family that had noticed bare patched in their carpets. We were able to attend the next day for a free survey and place monitoring pads down to identify what it is that is eating their carpet. Dead fox removal in Pershore, Worcester, WR10 – 25th June 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client who was away from home and their neighbours had advised they had a dead fox on there front drive and with this heat it needed dealing with as soon as possible. We were in the area so was able to deal with it within the hour. The fox was bagged up and removed for safe disposal.

Woolen moth infestation in Worcester, WR5 – 15th June 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client who had been having an issue with moths for quite a while. We attended site and advised what the client needed to do before we came to treat the issue. Woollen cloths need to be bagged and placed in freezer for 24 hr then left in bags until after treatment is carried out. Also, all heavy furniture needs to be moved out so they can be treated behind and under. Also, the house must be hovered throughout, and the hover bag placed in black bag, sealed, and placed in outside bin. Then we will spray and fog the house throughout and the house is to be vacated for at least 4 hours to allow treatment to dry.

Confirming beetle species in Worcester, WR3 - June 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client who was having an issue with beetles in their house which had been going on for a couple of years. We were able to visit site at a time and date that was convenient for the client. We have taken samples of the beetle to get a confirmation of type of beetle. Once we have confirmation, we will be able to organise a convenient time to treat the problem.

Bee Swarms in Worcester, WR13 - June 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client that had bees in her garden. We were able to attend the same day and advised that they were bumble bees. We were able to remove the bees from her garden and relocate in an area away from the houses and beneficial for the bees.

Bumblebees in bird box in PERSHORE, WR10 - May 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a lady that had some bees in a bird box in her garden that were stinging her gardener. We were able to attend site the next day and saw that it was a bumble bee that had made up home in the bird box We were able to secure the bees inside the bird box to allow us to take the bird box down and place in a carry box so we could relocate the bumbles bees somewhere safe where they could be happy. The client was happy that we were able to help save the bees.

Ants invade garden in Worcester, WR2 - May 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client we had done work for previously as he was having trouble with ants in his garden. We were able to visit sight the next day an put a plan in place to deal with the issue. We applied insecticide powder to a number of high activity sights around the garden and w also placed ant gel stations around the garden that the ant will feed on and take back to the nest. We have arranged a follow up visit to check and top up the ant gel stations.

Effective ant treatment for home in Worcester, WR2 - May 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client we helped last year with a wasp issue. This year he is having a problem with ants getting into a couple of rooms in the house. Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client we have done numerous jobs for as he was fed up with the squirrels in his garden eating all his fruit ad venturing into his attic space in his house. We were able to set traps in the attic space once squirrels are trapped, we will proof visible entry points with wire mesh. We have also set up good nature traps in the fruit tree in his garden to reduce the number of squirrels running amuck in his garden.

Bee inspection in PERSHORE, WR8 - May 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client that was having a problem with bees entering his daughter’s bedroom. We were able to attend site the very next day but when we arrived it was a cold over cast afternoon and the bees were not active. We have arranged to come back on a warm day to assess where the bees are active and organise to have them removed and relocated.

Pestforce Worcester were contacted by a client that was hearing noises in his roof space. We attended site and found it was squirrels getting into the roof space from a couple of holes under the eves of the roof. Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a lady who had just moved into her new house, and we had been recommended by the previous owner who we had done a lot of work for. She had a problem with moles on her lawn. We were able to attend quickly at a time that was convenient for her. We set traps for the moles and have arranged to return on a date and time that was convenient for her.

Rats invade newly purchased home in Droitwich, Worcestershire, WR9 - 22nd March 2023

Pestforce Worcester were contacted by a young family that had just moved into a new rental and they were seeing rats in the garden and hearing them in the house. Up on inspection we could see that the rats had chewed trough a plastic waste pipe of a disused toilet. We have started a 3-visit treatment once the treatment is complete; we will be able to proof to stop further entry. The bill is being paid by the landlord.

Carpet moth infestation in Pershore, Worcestershire, WR10 - 11th March 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client that had a moth problem in their lovely old property that had started eating their carpet and also some of their cloths. We attended site to survey and quote for the treatment. We advised the client on what they needed to do to prepare for our visit to treat the issue. And also explained that they could not hoover carpets or mop floors for at least 2 weeks after treatment. We arranged a time that was convenient to the client to carry out the treatment.

DIY pest control in Evesham, Worcestershire, WR11 - 1st March 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client who had tried to trap a rat in his attic with live traps and snap traps. He had videos that he has sent us which shows the very large rat showing no interest in the traps so we have attended site and used bait trays and water stations to see if we can get rid of the rat. We will follow up in 7 days and have a look at the videos to see what has been going on.

FREE Survey to confirm moth infestation at home in Pershore, Worcester, WR10 - 27th February 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client who house was infested with moth. They were eating his cloths and his carpets. We attended for a free survey visit. The property was a large old, beamed cottage. We advised on what they would need to do before treatment. And explained that they would need to vacate the property while the treatment was going ahead and quoted for the work which would take quite a while to carry out. Client pleased that we carried out survey free of charge.

Erradicating mice from bakery in Bromyard, Worcester, WR6 - 17th January 2023

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a busy bakery that had seen a mouse in the property. Due to the nature of the business we had to use traps as couldn’t risk dead mouse getting into equipment. We set several traps and could 1 mouse very quickly, but the client was still seeing another mouse. We sealed any entry point visible and re baited traps with chocolate spread as the client reported the mouse had a liking for chocolate. We caught the mouse quickly and no more signs of mice were evident, so all traps removed from site.

Protecting lawn from moles in Worcester, WR3 - 20th December 2022

Pestforce Worcester were contacted by a client that we helped last year with a mole problem. His garden was being invaded again this year by more moles and wanted us to deal with them. We have since set up and bespoke trapping programme and should have the problem sorted within a few weeks.

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client who had a wasp nest in the attic of his house. When we attended the site we found 2 wasp nest which we treated with insecticide. The client was happy that we were able to attend so quickly.

Double wasp next spray treatment in Broadway, Worcester, WR12 - 25th October 2022

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client that needed a wasp nest dealing with quickly. We were able to attend later that day. The nest was in a very difficult position as they were entering under the soffit of gable window with no access to the roof void. We treated with insecticide dust and asked the client to keep an eye on it and if needed we would return and treat again at no extra charge. The client called a couple of days later to say that the wasps were not evident at the point of treatment, but some were getting into the house. We attended the same day to take another look. We treated a hole in the house that was where the roof void was above the gable window. and the client is no longer having an issue. He is very happy.

Wasps in Conifer in Worcester, WR2 - 16th October 2022

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a landscape gardener that had found a wasp nest in a low ground cover conifer that he had be trying to remove for his client. He tried to deal with it him self but got stung. He needed it dealing with as soon as possible so he could keep to his schedule. We were able to fit him in that afternoon so he could get the job finished the following day. Client was very happy.

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client that had a wasp nest under the tiles of her roof right by her bedroom window and they were getting into the house. We attended at a time and day that was convenient to them. We inspected the attic and no sign of the nest. Treated nest from the outside where wasp were entering with insecticide dust.

Hornets nest in stables in Worcester, WR7 - 28th September 2022

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client who had a hornet’s nest in one of her stables and needed them delt with quickly as she had a horse arriving at the weekend and needed them gone before the horse arrived. We were able to attend early the next morning before the client left for work that day. We treated the nest and advised the client to make sure her other horses were kept away from the treatment area until the following morning. Client happy that we were able to deal with issue at a time that was convenient for her and so quickly.

Wasp nests treated in school in Pershore, WR10 - 10th September 2022

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a school in pershore that had 3 wasp nest in the grounds of the school and wanted then destroyed be for the children returned from their summer break. We were able to meet the caretaker on site at a time that was convenient to him on the same day. We treated the nests and removed one that was situated in a shed in the grounds of the school.

Pigeon removed from sports retailer in Evesham, WR11 - 4th September 2022

Pestforce Worcester was call to remove a pigeon from a sports shop in Evesham. We attended site and was able to pen the bird in a side room away from the public then we were able to net the pigeon and remove from site to be released safely. Client happy that the prosses was carried out with no interruption to there trading.

Droitwich Wasp Nest Removal, WR9 - 30th August 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester was contacted by a lady who had a wasp nest in a bank in her back garden she needed it treating as soon as possible as she had workmen coming the next day. We were able to attend with in the hour. We needed to dig the bank out to find the nest site and treated with insecticide dust. Client happy that she can tell her work men that they can carry on with the work.

Ant control for care home in Worcester, WR11 – 25th August 2022

Pestforce Worcester were contacted by a care home that was having trouble with ants in the residence living area. We accessed the situation, we then placed ant gel in the living room and hallway. We sprayed around the perimeter of the building and the pathways leading to the buildings. We advised the client to make sure that all spillages are cleaned up so that the ant don’t come in to feed of the crumbs.

Another wasp nest gone in Droitwich, near Worcester, WR9 - 23rd August 2022

Pestforce Worcester were contacted by a lady who had a wasp nest in the roof of her bungalow. We were able to attend the same day and treat the nest with insecticide dust. Client very happy she can open her windows again in all the heat.

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client who had a wasp nest in wall of her house which was causing problems for her neighbours. We were able to attend the next day at a time that was convenient for the client. We treated the nest and advised the clients neighbours that they should stay away from the nest site for the next 24hrs.

Squirrels entering home in Worcester, WR5 - 7th August 2022

Pestforce Worcester were contacted by a client who had seen squirrels entering her roof space and could hear noises at night. We attended site and put squirrel traps in the roof. We also put mice bait in trays as evidence of mice. We will return in a week to check traps and bait trays.

Bedbug advice and treatment for young family's home in Worcester, WR3 - 30th July 2022

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a young couple that had bed bugs in the property. They had been having a problem for a while, but we were able to put there mind at rest with a plan to eradicate the bugs. They were advised to remove all cloths to be washed and the bedding to be hot washed. Once this was done, we attended the property and hovered the whole flat then sprayed the flat, furniture, and soft furnishings with insecticide spray. Client was advised to stay out of the flat until the spray had dried and not to hover or mop floors for a couple of weeks.

Worcester garden mole trapping, WR11 - 25th July 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester were contacted by a young couple who were having trouble with a mole digging up their back garden. We attended site and set up traps and advised that it would take 3-4 visits to complete the trapping program. The client was happy that on the second visit there was a mole in one of the traps. We reset traps and arranged the next visit.
 

Saving seagull in netting in shopping centre in Worcester, WR1 – 21st July 2022

Pestforce Worcester was contacted to attend a shop in the centre that was worried about a fledgling seagull that had fallen from the roof and become stuck in the netting over the court yard at the back of the shop. We were able to attend within the hour. We were able to cut the net to free the young seagull and place him back up onto the roof where his mother could look after him. We repaired the net before we left. The shop assistant was very grateful that we could attend so quickly and save the bird

Wasp nest treatment in eaves of home in Pershore, Worcestershire, WR10 – 14th July 2022

Pestforce Worcester was contacted by a client that had a wasp nest in the eves of his property and ants in his bedroom. We were able to treat the wasp nest with insecticide dust. We investigated the ant problem and found that the ants were getting through cracks in the rendering on the outside of the house We placed ant gel stations in the bedrooms and dusted the outside of the building and the cracks in the rendering with ant dust.

We were not  able to fit it into our route that day so we attended on the Sunday morning We treated with insecticide dust We advised the client to stay away from the area for 24 hrs Client really happy that he can get into his green house again.

Ant control in front room of house in Pershore, WR11 - 1st July 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester had a call from a client who was having trouble with ants in his front room. We managed to fit it into our route and attended the same day. We treated areas in front room and in the area of the fireplace.. We also iterated the area by the front and back door. Client very happy with the service he also gave us an update 2 days later to say he was not seeing the ants anymore.

Wasp nest removal for caravan park in Hanley Swan, WR8 - 20th June 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester were called by a caravan park. They had a wasp nest in one of the shower blocks. We were able to attend the same day as we were in the area. We treated the nest with insecticide dust advised the camp site owner to keep the campers away from the area for the rest of the day. Client very happy with our quick response.

Worcester hotel pest control services, WR2, 13th June 2022

A Worcs hotel called Pestforce Pest Control Worcester and wanted two rooms spraying for bed bugs. We were able to attend at a time and day that was convenient for the client, whom had hoovered and stripped the linen from the beds already. We treated with insecticide the 2 rooms the client asked us to. We enquired if it was only the 2 rooms that needed doing and he explained that it was. We advised that the rooms should be left for at least 6 hours or until the treatment had dried.

Rats venture into neighbouring area in Worcester, WR1, 7th June 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester are currently dealing with an ongoing rat infestation in an area in Worcester. Whilst we were on a monitoring visit on site, a neighbour asked us to set up a treatment plan for their property. We were able to survey their property and garden immediately and discuss a treatment plan that would work best for them. We initiated the treatment the same day and will return in one weeks’ time to monitor the progress and discuss the regularity of visits in the future.

Pet cat carries fleas into large town house in Worcester, WR1 - 23rd May 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester were called out to help a lady in Worcester who was having a troublesome time with fleas in her large town house. We arrived quickly and carried out an inspection. The lady owned 2 cats which would also require treatment for fleas with a vet. As the property needs to be vacated for a period of time following treatment, we were pleased to be able to accommodate this lady and fit in when it was easier for her to leave her home for a while with her cats. We made our client aware of the health and safety information following treatment and advice on how to ensure she gets the most out of the treatment.

Rats drawn to farmhouse with chickens in the garden in Worcester, WR5 - 10th May 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester were called out to support a client living in a farmhouse in Worcester. The client keeps chickens in the garden of the farmhouse as do his next-door neighbours. Both our client and the next-door neighbour report seeing active rats around the garden. We discussed the options with our client and made recommendations to the neighbour. Both parties agreed with our recommended rodent treatment program. Initially this will be one visit a week. Once we feel we have made good progress and the current rodent infestation in under control, the clients have agreed for us to continue on a contractual basis with 6 weekly visits.

Heat treatment for woodworm and death-watch beetle in Worcester, WR4 - 28th April 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester received a call from a client who had raised concerns regarding woodworm/death watch beetle in their home in Worcester. When we arrived at their home, the client informed us that they had heard a clicking noise coming from the wood beams, we listened and witnessed this too. The death watch beetle is unique with the ticking or clicking sound it makes when it bumps its head against the tunnels it is boring through in the timber or old furniture. The client’s home was a very large semi-detached barn conversion. The building was just a shell for several years with a tin roof and the timber open to the elements. Following our inspection, we advised our client that the adjoining property would likely have the same issue. We believe the best solution for this type of infestation would be heat treatment due to some of the timbers being over 20ft high from ground level. We arranged for our heat treatment specialist to attend and give a quote for the treatment to eliminate the troublesome critters.

Worcester rodent control for greenhouse, WR3 - 17th April 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester took a call from a client who had reported seeing rats in his garden and green house. We advised that there were mice and rats evident. We have set traps and safely placed bait boxes. After 3 visits the problem has been effectively ressolved.

Mole catcher returns in Worcester, WR3 – 5th April 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester returned to a customer with an ongoing mole issue which we attended last month to help rid him of moles. As the location of his property is very rural with open field bordering his garden so new moles had taken up residence again we set traps and had a mole on the second visit. Left traps for 1 more visit when we returned no more evidence of mole activity and traps removed but client very aware that they may move in again next month.

Roof proofing to stop birds in Kempsey, Worcester, WR5 - 28th March 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester took a call from a new client who was hearing noises in their roof in the evenings. We attended and saw that birds were getting in at night but had not started nesting yet. We proofed the access points and the client was very impressed we were able to sort the problem so quickly.

Fogging treatment to clear cluster fly infestation in Worcester, WR6 - 22nd March 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester took a call from a new client who explained they had an annual problem with cluster flies. We attended and flogged the large attic space with insecticide. The client was happy with the fogging treatment as it was less disruptive than smoke bombs. A days following the customer let us know that the treatment had been effective and the flies had been erradicated. 

Rats living under shed in Evesham, Worcester, WR11 - 15th March 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester were called by a client who he was seeing rats in his garden under the shed. We were able to attend the next day. Once we had accessed the area we set up fen traps in boxes. We will attend next week to check the boxes. The client was very happy that we could attend so quickly.

Rabbit control in Flyford Flavell, Worcester, WR7 - 2nd March 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester were contacted by a lovely lady who's garden was her pride and joy but the rabbits were digging up her garden. We attended and found the rabbits were living under her shed. We set live catch cages with no success. So we set fen traps under the shed and caught the rabbits we then rabbit wired around the shed to stop more rabbits taking up residence under the shed. Client happy as we also sorted her moles out while we were there. 

Fogging treatment to get rid of flies in Worcester, WR6 – 21st February 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester were called out after a client had a bad fly infestation at their property in Worcester. We identified the source of the problem in the loft space and carried out a fogging treatment. We also applied some insecticide to the window sill to treat any flies in the kitchen. The treatment seems to have been very effective and the client has come back to say they are over the moon to be free of flies. 

Dead rat removal in Worcester, WR5 – 14st February 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Worcester finished at a rodent control treatment this week at a property in Worcester. On the final we had a large dead rat to dispose of. We carried out 4 visits in total to help control the problem and have left the client advice to ensure a rodent infestation does not re-occur in the future. This includes stopping feeding the birds for a period of time. 

Worcester Rat Control After Scratching Noises Heard at Night - 1st February 2022

Had a call from a client that lived in Worcester (WR3) as he was being driven mad by scratching at night in his roof. We attended and saw evidence of rats in the roof and have treated with trays in the attic and boxes in the garden. While there, we were approached by other properties in the row who were having the same problem and we are now treating all four houses in the row. The client is looking forward to getting back to a quite nights sleep!
