Woodlice find haven in a basement home in Reading, RG1, 9th November 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Reading received a call and attended a basement home in Reading where the occupants were becoming overwhelmed and frustrated by the increasing number of woodlice sharing their home. Our team carried out an initial assessment of the property, paying close attention to the darker areas of the rooms. Numerous woodlice were present in the kitchen, hallway, and lounge. Dark, damp conditions are perfect for woodlice, with this being a basement home, the humidity level also provides an ideal environment for them to thrive. We agreed on a woodlouse treatment program which commenced the same day, all affected rooms were treated with a licensed insecticide treatment, with additional attention given to all cracks and crevices which will harbour woodlice. Our recommendations also included the use of a dehumidifier, which will help with the humidity. We are confident that the woodlouse treatment and dehumidifier will prevent further issues with woodlice in the basement home.
Mouse in the house causes a fright in Reading, RG31, 17th September 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Reading received a call from a frightened occupant who had seen a mouse in her house in Reading, furthermore a second deceased rodent was then discovered upstairs in a bucket. Our rodent team arrived at the property at an agreed time and an initial survey was carried out. On inspection mice droppings were identified in the kitchen along with a suspected point of entrance, additionally two side attics were also inspected, both of which had evidence of recent rodent activity. An external building was then inspected which once again had suspected points of ingress around some pipework. We commenced a two-part rodent treatment program immediately, with the use of bait in the kitchen and in the side attics, a visit was then scheduled to return in one weeks’ time. We returned to this home for the second and final visit, one mouse had been caught in the kitchen and one mouse in the attic, bait was also taken in the attic. There was no further evidence of recent rodent activity, therefore we were able to remove the baiting products and the traps, and with the use of rodent proof mesh, we filled in the points of entrance to prevent a further infestation occurring in this property.
Rats in property in Reading, RG30 - July 22
Pestforce Pest Control Readinghave recently completed the riddance of rats in a property in Reading. Customer had called after her Nan had a fall after seeing a rat in the kitchen. A three part rodenticide treatment was put in place. After the riddance of the rodents proofing was carried out to prevent rodent issues in the further. Customer was over the moon with work carried out as cares were able to continue their visits.
Ants at wedding venue in Reading, RG7 - June 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Reading have recently completed a successful Insecticidal treatment for the riddance of ants. A spray treatment was carried out along with dusting along all door Crevices. Ant bait stations were placed Discreetly for Continued treatment.

Pestforce Pest Control Reading have recently just completed a successful treatment for the riddance of rats. Customer had called after hearing the rats in the cavity walls. Pestforce Reading came out to investigate and put in place a three-part treatment using Rodenticide and tracking dust. We were able to Successfully identify where the rodents were gaining access and work was carried out internally and externally once treatment was complete to prevent the problem Recurring. Customer was delighted they could finally have a peaceful night's sleep!
Rats running riot in kitchen in Reading town centre, 30th April 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Reading have recently completed an effective rat removal from a property based in the centre of Reading . Customer had got in touch after his tenants had seen rats in the kitchen. A three-part treatment was put into action using rodenticide and with the aid of tracking dust we were able to establish where the rats were gaining access and at the end of treatment Successfully block all Ingress points. Customer was happy with the work carried and the actions taken to prevent further infestations.
Rats in new kitchen extension in Reading, 22nd October 2021
Pestforce Pest Control Reading have recently completed a rodent riddance treatment alongside extensive drainage works to completely rid a refurbished home of a serious rat problem. The rat problem arose soon after their home extension was complete with scratching noises being heard in their new kitchen walls. We investigated the issue and uncovered a drainage related issue where the waste pipe had not been capped off. We carried out extensive remedial works on top of our regular treatment and successfully capped the drain. Within a day of capping of the drains, the residents were no longer hearing anymore noises. Another property back to being rodent free.
Pest control contract for food packaging company in Reading, 15th October 2021
Pestforce Pest Control Reading have just finished setting up a pest control contract for a commercial property which is used by a bespoke food packaging company. They required a comprehensive pest control contract consisting of monthly routinte visits in order to become SALSA registered. At this moment there is no evidence of any pest activity of any kind and the company willl recieved regular digital treatment reports to have on file to show this. We will be monitoring for rodent and insect activity for the rest of the year.
Mole control for brand new landscape garden in Reading, 10th October 2021
Pestforce Pest Control Reading have completed a mole control plan within a week with great success. A family just outside Reading had recently had their immaculate lawn and flowerbeds relayed when they started having an issue with mole hills popping up. We attended as soon as could and strategically set 10x mole traps throughout the garden. Within 2 visits the mole problem was gone with 2 moles successfully caught. The client was delighted that their new garden had been restored and was no longer under attack.

Wasp nest removal for builders in Reading, 27th September 2021
Pestforce Pest Control Reading recieved a call from a commercial construction firm in Reading after their workers had started to get stung by an angry wasp nest. Scaffolding had been erected for us to use and by the next day the wasp nest had been effectively treated and the builders could get back to work constructing their new build home project.
Severe bedbug infestation in flat in Reading, RG30, 20th September 2021
Pestforce Pest Control Reading were called out to a help a client with a severe bedbug infestation in their flat in Reading. We attended the same day to survey and was able to book in for treatment of the property the same week. In total 4 rooms were treated for the insects across an initial spray treatment and a follow up treatment 2 weeks later. We also used our ULV fogging machine to help enhance our treatment’s effectiveness at eradicating the pest problem. Insect monitors have been left but so far the property has been reported to be bedbug free.
Fleas in carpet in Reading, RG6 - 2nd September 2021
Pestforce Pest Control Reading had a call from a local estate agents we work with regarding a flea problem at one of their properties. As the previous tenants had pets they had managed to leave behind cat fleas and quickly the whole home became infested. With the new tenants away on holiday they called us in at the perfect time. We treated the whole house with with residual insecticide focussing on carpeted areas, upstairs, bedrooms and sofa. We followed up our spray treatment with ULV fogging post treatment (fumigation). Now the new tenants are flea free and are no longer getting bitten.
Non toxic rodent and wasp treatment for outdoor venue in Reading, RG7 - 27th August 2021
Pestforce Pest Control Reading have recently effectively dealt with a series of pest related issues at an outdoor venue site which needed us to use only non toxic treatment methods. To deal with their mice infestation we used snap traps securely set within bait stations. After 3 visits this mouse problem was dealt with. On top of this we dealt with their ongoing wasp problem through the use of natural lures. These lures were placed just away from the kitchen/ bar area and meant that the wasps congregated away from the staff / customers and made the venue a far more pleasant and wasp free zone. Moles in Mapledurham - July 2021
Pestforce Pest Control Reading completed a mole job today in Mapledurham, RG4. After trying another pest control company without success, they called Pestforce Pest Control after reading our rave reviews. Two visits later, the moles and their mole hills have gone and the customers lawn is back to its former glory.
Ants in Reading - July 2021
Pestforce Pest Control Reading, where called out by a local estate agent to deal with an Ant problem in a communal kitchen in one of their rental properties on the Oxford Road, Reading. Pleased to say after a short treatment, with Ant Gel and Ant Lures this problem is now fully resolved and the estate agent and landlord have been extremely proactive with the advice given to them to hopefully insure the problem will not return.
Scratching noises in Reading - June 2020
Pestforce Pest Control where called out to a pub in Reading as they had heard scratching noises in the loft. I attended to see signs of rat activity, so I placed traps and trays of bait as part of my complete Pest control treatment service. After 30 days I had a very happy customer who is now rat free.
