Ants cause frustration in Bedford, MK40, 16th June 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford were called to assist a client who was battling an ongoing problem with ants in Bedford. Our team arrived at the home and completed a survey. There was a high level of ant activity around the perimeter of the property. We suggested that we would need to spray the perimeter of the home and some areas would also benefit from the use of an insecticide dust. This treatment was carried out immediately. These ants are no longer causing our client a problem. 

Rodents find haven under a shed in a garden in Bedford, MK45, June 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford attended a property in Bedford following a call from the occupants who had spotted rats in their garden. Our team arrived and carried out a full inspection of the area, during which we identified two points of entry in the footings of the house. Additional signs of activity were all discovered under the shed and burrows were noted between fences. We recommended our successful rodent treatment plan and initiated this straight away. We scheduled a second visit, which proved the treatment to be progressing as we had hoped. On our third and final visit we were confident we had eradicated the problem rodents; therefore, we were able to complete the treatment and fill in the holes in the footings of the property and seal the burrows. This garden is now free from rodents with additional prevention for the future.

Rodents take up residence in a kitchen in Kempston, MK40 - May 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford received a call and attended a property in Kempston, Bedford. The occupants had raised concerns regarding rodents in their kitchen. On arrival we conducted a full survey, this included removing the kickboards in the kitchen. During the survey we discovered droppings under the kitchen cupboards, behind the kickboards. We also identified a point of entry in an outside cupboard, there was small hole at the bottom of the door and then another small hole at the back of cupboard leading directly into the hallway of the house. We discussed our findings with our client and initiated our extremely successful rodent treatment program. We returned one week later to check the progress of the rodent treatment program and replenished the bait. The third visit was then carried out one week later. We were pleased to find no further evidence of rodent activity. This meant we were able to rodent proof the external point of entry to prevent any new infestations entering the property via the same route.

Bedford rodent control services - 25/04/2022

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford were called out to a residential client who had started seeing rats in and around their property. We carried out a next day inspection to their home and garden area. We found obvious evidence of rodent activity in the loft area and burrows in the garden area under their shed. We have started a baiting programme using rodeniticide. On our first visit we have also opened up communication with the neighbours as their garden is quite unkept providing possible harbourage for more rats. Our treatment has been very successful and we have cleared this infestation efficiently. We have also carried out some minor gardening works and cemented any entry points. 

Scratching in loft calls for rat control in Bedford - 14/03/2022

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford have recently completed a rat control job for a local resident in Bedford who had been living with a rat problem. Our extensive survey found evidence of rat activity in the loft and quickly put into place a rodenticide treatment plan. Squirrel control for loft in Bedford, MK42 - 07/03/2022

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford were called out to help a gentleman after he heard sounds of squirrels in his loft. We attended the next day and surveyed his loft space. We found minor activity of squirrels in his loft and placed a good natured trap in his loft. Following a week of little activity heard by the resident we returned and removed our trap. In all likelihood the squirrel had just moved on. We carried out some proofing works which involved screwing down two ridge tiles and affix customer supplied wood to block hole which we sealed with mastic and paint.

Rat control for apartment in Bedford - 07/02/2022

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford received a text in the morning the other day from a local tenant in Bedford who had rats in their apartment. We offered the client some simple advice and scheduled them in for a rodent survey of their home for our next available diary slot. We discovered obvious evidence of rat activity with fresh rat droppings found in the loft area. Rats coming up from the drains, MK41 - 02/01/2022

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford inspected home suffering from a rat infestation in Bedford. From the outset we could identify that the infestation was drain related. To get on top of the existing rodent problem within the home we safely placed baits under the kitchen units. Once we had the infestation under control we fitted a rat blocker in the drain. After a further few days post treatment we contacted the client and discussed that they hadn't seen or heard any further rat activity and was very glad to be back living without any pests. Rat traps for loft in Bedford, MK40 - 04/11/2021

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford attended a home suffering from a rat problem in Bedford. The home was owned by a local dog breeder. With their being a number of dogs and pets in the home we were keen to avoid the use of rodenticide to ensure the pets are kept safe. Our inspection confirmed to us that the rodents were living in the loft space and had likley entered the property via the drains. We placed only traps in the loft and was successful at catching the rats and erradicating the infestation. We avoid the rodenticide baits in certain situations and create bespoke treatment plans to fit the situation. We have recommended to the client they have rat blockers fitted in the drain which is another service we can provide to ensure effective rodent proofing is in place to prevent further rodent infestations. 

Wasp nest above door in Bedford, MK44 - 07/10/2021 

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford attended to help a retired couple with an angry wasp nest in the fascia above their front door. We treated the wasp nest the same day and now the couple are able to get in and out of their home without wasps flying around their face. Lucky in this instance nobody was stung but this was because the couple acted fast and called the pest control professionals. We provide an effective spray treatment and are always on hand in case any wasps remain. We are close to the end of the wasp season so if you know anyone with a wasp problem make sure they give us a call. 

Ants in kitchen in Bedford, MK44 - 23/09/2021

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford were called out to help a client with a ant problem in their kitchen. It appeared that the infestation had started outside near the patio and spread into the kitchen and then further into the house. We attended as soon as we could and treated the ants nest and sprayed the perimeter of the house and patio door frame. We also left ant gel pods by the inside of the patio door. Overall a very effective treatment and now the client is back to living ant free. 

Snakes in the garden in Bedford, MK42 - 15/09/2021

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford had a phone call from a paniced lady who reported seeing multiple snakes in their garden.  We reassured the lady and tried to assess the situation from over the phone. Grass snakes can be found in UK gardens however will tend to be near a water source like a stream or pond.  We asked the lady to send across a photo so we knew exactly what we were walking into and in fact it was elephant hawk moths catepillars.  They can be quite large for insects but are non poisonous and are not a species of snake. The customer was relieved and we explained over the phone there was nothing to worry about.  We are also happy to offer advice and reassurance over the phone- call us if you have any quesions in relation to pest problems. 

Wasp Nest Removal in Bedford, MK40 - 03/09/2021 

Pestforce Pest Control Bedford were called to a family home in Bedford after a mother had a fright entering her loft. A large active wasp nest had been built just ahead of the loft hatch. We attended as soon as we could entered the loft space in our bee suit and successfully treated the wasp nest. The nest was no more and we attended a few days later to remove the dead nest. Another happy customer.
