Bee Control High Peak
Bees are a common pest in early summer. There are over 270 different species of bees in the UK. Bees are indispensable to our food production due to being the main pollinators for crops and flowers. Bee season generally starts and ends a little earlier than Wasp season. Unlike Wasps Bees aren’t generally aggressive but their sting can still be fatal if allergic. Bumblebee Relocation
Bumblebees are usually fat and hairy, they can usually be found between the months of April and August. Bumblebees often make their nests in compost bins, loft insulation and rotten wood such as logs and dead trees. The most commonly found Bumblebee is the Tree Bumblebee this is a fat, hairy bee with a rusty red back and a white tail. They are most commonly found in loft insulation and old birds’ nests. We then place the retrieved Bumblebee nest and place it in a plant pot to live out the rest of the season in Chuck's garden.
Honeybee Relocation
Unlike the Bumblebee, Honeybee nest all year round. However Honeybees tend to swarm between the months of April and June. Honeybees tend to colonize in chimney’s, wall cavities and flat roof spaces. Once allowed to establish and colonize Honeybees make honeycomb which can cause issues such as damp. Chuck and Jack Murdy of Pestforce Pest Control High Peak, carried out a flea treatment in Hayfield this week. Prior to the spray we sent out a pre and post treatment checklist to our customer. Upon completion of the spray we gave our customer all the relevant safety information.
Squirrel Control New Mills, SK22 - 13/04/2024
Our father and son duo, Chuck and Jack Murdy started a squirrel trapping program this week. Following a survey of the property we have identified a problem area and have quoted to complete the relevant proofing on our final visit.
Bird spike installation Buxton, SK17 - 03/04/2024
Our High Peak Bird control team completed a substantial bird spike installation this week. Following precise measurements from a previous visit, we installed 5 metres of bird spikes to our customers gutters. Post-installation, we cleaned and disinfected the area.
Mouse treatment Waterswallows, SK17 - 27/03/2024
Pestforce Pest Control High Peak completed a mouse clearance this week. Having identified the issue as mice on our first visit we chose traps as the best solution. Upon completion we fitted four air brick covers to our customer house to stop re infestation.
Routine visit Chapel-en-le-Frith, SK23 - 23/03/2024
During a routine pest control visit, our father and son team Chuck and Jack Murdy inspected all monitoring stations. We then filled out all relevant paperwork and happily reported no issues to the satisfied customer.
Rat clearance Dove Holes, SK17 - 13/03/2024
Chuck and Jack Murdy at Pestforce Pest Control High Peak successfully executed a rat eradication plan for a customer in Dove Holes. Upon completion of the three visit plan we completed some proofing work to stop re entry into ur customers property.
Squirrel clearance Chapel-en-le-Frith, SK23 - 03/03/2024
Pestforce Pest Control High Peak concluded a three-visit trapping program for squirrels, capturing a total of four in our customer’s loft. Additionally, we surveyed their house, providing advice on the points of access for the squirrels and suggesting potential remedial works.
Flea Treatment Chinley, SK23 - 27/02/2024
Pestforce Pest Control High Peak finished a flea treatment this week. Before the appointment, we provided our customer with a pre and post-treatment checklist. We arrived punctually to carry out the flea treatment, rearranging furniture during spraying to cover the entire area. After finishing, we diligently completed all necessary paperwork and safety information, leaving it with our customer.
Contract visit Buxton, SK17 - 20/02/2024
Chuck and Jack Murdy of Pestforce Pest Control High Peak conducted a standard pest control visit for one of our commercial contract clients this week. They inspected all monitoring stations, completed the necessary paperwork, and happily reported no issues to the customer.
Rat clearance Whaley Bridge, SK23 - 12/02/2024
Chuck and Jack Murdy of Pestforce Pest Control High Peak successfully executed a three-visit rat eradication plan for a customer in Whaley Bridge. Identifying the issue on the first visit, we opted to use traps as the best solution. Returning a week later, we had trapped 2 rats. We reset the traps and left them for another week. No additional rats were caught on the third visit, and we removed our traps. We then fulfilled the requested proofing work.
Pigeon proofing Buxton, SK17 - 10/01/2024
Pestforce Pest Control High Peaks Bird control experts Chuck and Jack Murdy successfully finished a bird netting project this week. We installed bird net to secure a customers porch canopy. Subsequently, we cleaned up all the pigeon guano and disinfected the area.
Mole trapping Chapel-en-le-Frith, SK23 - 18/12/2023
Chuck and Jack Murdy started a 12 month mole trapping contract on customer's field. Using traditional barrel traps we caught multiple moles on our first setting. Going forwards our customer will contact us when they have a mole and we will attend within 7 days to set traps.
Rat proofing Buxton, SK17 - 11/12/2023
Chuck and Jack Murdy fitted a rat wall to a customer's drain this week. Having identified the root of the problem we advised our customer to fit a rat wall to their rain. This will stop rats re entering the customers porperty.
Cluster Flies Chapel-en-le-Frith, SK23 - 04/12/2023
Our Father and Son team Chuck and Jack Murdy treated a customer loft for cluster flies. Having positively identified the issue as cluster fly, we fogged our customers loft to eradicate the issue.
Fox trapping Buxton, SK17 - 27/11/2023
Our father and son team, Chuck and Jack Murdy started a fox clearance at a small holding in Buxton this week. Having set a cage trap we will check it daily and humanely deal with any caught foxes.
Mouse Proofing Newtown, SK22 - 20/11/2023
Chuck and Jack Murdy completed the installation of 4 air brick covers to stop mice entering a customers property. Having assessed and quoted on a previous visit we arrived with the equipment needed to complete the work.
Mouse control Furness Vale, SK23- 13/11/2023
Pestforce Pest Control High Peak started a 3 visit mouse control treatment in Furness Vale. Having positively identified the issue as mice we placed multiple traps under our clients kitchen units. We then completed all the relevant paperwork and booked a follow up appointment.
Squirrel trapping Buxton, SK17 - 06/11/2023
Chuck and Jack Murdy started a 3 visit squirrel trapping program this week. Upon arrival we assessed the issue positively identifying the problem as squirrels. We then placed multiple traps to catch the squirrels and booked our client in for a follow up appointment were we will check and remove any squirrels we have caught.
Mole trapping New Mills, SK22 - 30/10/2023
Pestforce Pest Control High Peak completed a mole clearance. We set 4 mole traps in our customers garden returning 3 days later having caught the mole. We left our customer happy and with a months guarantee.
Rat contact Whaley Bridge, SK23 - 23/10/2023
Pestforce Pest Control High Peak carried out a routine rat control inspection at a customer's stables. We check all our rat monitoring points. We had caught 3 rats so removed the carcasses and rest the traps leaving our customer rat free.
Rodent contract Chapel-en-le-Frith, SK23 - 16/10/2023
Pestforce Pest Control High Peaks father and son team Chuck and Jack Murdy completed a routine pest control visit to a local commercial premises. We check all our external and internal bait stations and where happy to report no issues to our client.
Rat clearance Buxton, SK17 - 09/10/2023
Pestforce Pest Control High Peak attended an emergency rat clearance in Buxton. We inspected the property and implemented a robust rat treatment. This included placing multiple bait stations around the property due to the large scale of the problem.
Rats Chapel-en-le-Frith, SK23 - 25/09/2023
Our High Peak Rat control team completed a rat clearance in Chapel-en-le-Frith. We were called out to rats around a chicken coop. We used pet safe bait boxes and wax block bait to deliver a clearance method that was safe for the chickens. Our customer was so happy they have now decided to go onto a rodent contract with us.
Wasp nest reactivation Whaley Bridge, SK23 - 18/09/2023
Pestforce Pest Control High Peak attended to a wasp nest in Whaley Bridge. Upon arrival we located the wasp nest, we then sprayed the nest with insecticidal dust and completed all the relevant paperwork. Our customer commented on our professionalism and tidiness.
Mole trapping Buxton, SK17 - 11/09/2023
Chuck and Jack Murdy completed a garden clearance for moles. Using traditional trapping techniques, we set 3 traps. We left them set for a few days and upon returning had caught the offending mole.
Wasp nest eradication New Mills, SK22 - 02/09/2023
Pestforce Pest Control High Peak's wasp control team attended a wasp nest on a property in New Mills. Chuck and Jack treated the nest and gave our customer all the relevant safety information. Our customer was happy with our professionalism and the quality of our service.
Wasp nest in New Mills, Sk22 - 21/08/2023
Our father and son team, Chuck and Jack Murdy treated a wasp nest in a customer's air brick. We responded within 24 hours of receiving the enquiry. We explained the process, treated the wasp nest and gave our customer the relevant safety information. Our client commented on how happy they were with both our professionalism and response time.
Rat contract Chapel-en-le-Frith, SK23 - 07/08/2023
Our father and son team Chuck and Jack Murdy serviced one of our regular rat contracts. We checked all the lockable bat boxes we have around our customers chicken coup. Rat activity was found so we completed a new environmental risk assessment and place bait into the boxes to eradicate the rats.
Mole trapping Buxton, SK17 - 02/08/2023
Our Mole trapping team attended a Mole issue our customer was having in their back garden. We assessed the situation and set 4 traps to catch the offending moles. When we returned a little over a week after setting to check our traps, we'd caught not 1 but 2 moles. We completed the job and commenced our customers 1 month guarantee.
Ant treatment Buxton, SK17 - 24/07/2023
Chuck Murdy of Pestforce Pest Control High Peak completed an ant treatment in Buxton. Ants had been reported in the washing area of a local catering establishment. We assessed the issue and decided an insecticidal spray was the best purse of action. Upon completion of the job, we provided the customer with all the relevant safety information and left them ant free.
Wasp nest removal New Mills, SK22 - 17/07/2023
Chuck and Jack responded to an emergency wasp nest in New Mills. Our customer had accidentally disturbed a wasp nest in their shed. We arrived within a couple of hours of receiving their phone call and treated and removed the nest.
Rodent contract Chapel-en-le-Frith, SK23 - 14/07/2023
Pestforce Pest Control High Peak carried out one of their routine visits this week for a commercial customer. We were pleased to report no rodent activity had been found on this occasion, we booked them in for another routine visit in a months time. The customer was pleased we were on top of their problem and no new rodent activity had been found.
Wasp nest treatment Whaley Bridge, SK23 - 05/07/2023
Chuck and Jack of Pestforce Pest Control High Peak attended to a wasp nest next to a velux window. We found the entry point of the wasp nest and treated it with insecticidal dust through the velux. We attended withing 24 hours of recieving the call and left behind a very happy customer thanks to our speed and professionalism.
Wasp nest removal Whaley Bridge, Sk23 - 28/06/2023
Our High Peak wasp control team Chuck and Jack Murdy responded to a customer's wasp nest. We provided a same day appointment. The wasps where nesting in our customers roof next to a Velux window. We sprayed the wasp nest with insecticidal dust and left the customer happy his wasps were treated.
Honeybee relocation Buxton, SK17 - 19/06/2023
Pestforce Pest Control High Peak retrieved and relocated a Honeybee swarm in our customer's chimney. We first we had scaffold installed. We then took down a portion of our customers chimney stack and retrieved the bees. We then had a builder take over and rebuild the chimney stack to its former glory. Chuck then took away and relocated the Honeybees to his ever-expanding apiary. You'll be pleased to know they're going strong nd loving their new home.
