Welcome to Pestforce Kingston-Upon-Thames pest control, a pest control company offering its services in and around Kingston Upon Thames. We are a successful father and son team, with over 10 years experience in dealing with ALL types of pests in VARIETY of situations.

We deal with all manner of pests but some recent examples of assignments have included:

  • Bedbugs are an increasing problem as a result of increased travel and resistance to chemical treatments. Bedbugs enter our homes on bags and on us; we may have brought them back as unwanted holiday souvenirs! They can crawl very fast from room to room, and become established in our homes quickly. They enjoy the warmth of our beds, the carbon dioxide we exhale and the ready supply of our blood on which they feed.
  • Fleas are also carried into homes in a variety of ways, sometimes on our pets who pick them up from outside. Conditions within our lovely warm, insulated homes are perfect fro fleas to thrive and breed. Unfortunately, fleas seem to be on the increase possibly as a result of flea treatments for pets not being used correctly as well as the warmer winters we have experienced of late. Once fleas have taken hold, the best course of action is to call us as we are licensed to use professional grade chemicals that effectively eradicate fleas.
  • Moles can also be a nuisance. Moles live underground, usually in woodland and other countryside areas and create a maze of tunnels beneath our feet. The result waste form what we call molehills and it is these that cause so many problems for gardeners, grounds men and in other outdoor situations.
  • Wasps can easily be spotted hanging around the garden and buzzing around the outside of our homes. Should you start to notice their numbers increasing then you may have a wasp nest in the garden. Wasp numbers can soon increase and it is always best not to interfere with a wasp nest as the stings can be very nasty and painful. We have specialist training in wasp nest removal.
  • Rodents can cause massive damage, very quickly as they strip wood, chew paper and cardboard, soft furnishings and anything else they come across, to shred and make their nests with. They also breed very quickly and so if you see one or two rats hanging around, there is bound to be a nest somewhere, full of young. Eradication and control of rats takes skill – we have completed additional courses on rat control and management.
  • Squirrels are gnawing creatures and can present a fire danger to your home, especially when they chew through electric cables, as well as the damage they cause by eating through timber structures etc. in roofs. Squirrels cannot be poisoned but have to be trapped and relocated. We provide that service.

As well as being knowledgeable, skilled and experienced, we make sure that we keep up to date with the latest training and pest control methods:

  • We hold a Level 2 certificate in ‘Pest Control & Management’ from the Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH). This qualification has fast become the industry standard but we do rest on our laurels. We remain up to date and have completed several additional courses:
    • Bird proofing techniques and equipment
    • Insect identification
    • Certification in the specialist pest control technique, gassing
    • Rodent control and prevention
    • Pesticides including regular up-date training
  • We are also fully insured, holding £5 million Public Liability Insurance

We work with all domestic customers, in the home and outside, whether in the garden, sheds, garages or outbuildings.

We also have many satisfied business customers and can complete one-off assignments, as well as contractual work on an ongoing basis:

  • Educational establishments such as schools, colleges, children’s nurseries, universities etc.
  • Local authority premises such as community centres, youth centres, outdoor recreational areas etc.
  • Sports clubs and facilities such as football, rugby and cricket grounds, golf courses, bowling greens etc.
  • We also have long established links with a variety of accommodation providers such as local letting agents, estate agents, private landlords, housing associations, secure units, care homes, nursing homes, B&Bs, hotels and more.
  • Food outlets require a quick response to pest control issues as they can seriously disrupt and affect business. We have worked with local cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops, supermarkets, fast food outlets and many others
  • Agricultural settings including locasl farms, stables, livery yards, kennels, animal sanctuaries and catteries. These customers can also benefit from on-going monitoring of pests.
  • Industrial units such as warehouses, factories and other industrial units such as vehicle compounds, haulage companies, storage facilities.
  • Other customers include office blocks, caravan parks, mobile home parks, stately homes and the surrounding grounds, building sites, garden centres and various recreational park areas.
