Pestforce Pest Control Harrow received a call from occupants of a flat in a Harrow. They had recently discovered cockroaches living in their kitchen and running around the floor. The occupants had tried to eradicate the cockroaches themselves to no avail and had called us after viewing our reviews online. We arrived at the property, completed a survey and were able to carry out a cockroach gel bait treatment which will work quickly to eradicate the cockroaches. Pestforce Pest Control Harrow received a call from a frustrated mother who had been seeing mice running around her home in Harrow. This had happened on several occasions, feeling overwhelmed, the mother wanted knowledgeable and experienced professional pest control to help to relieve her home of mice. Rat chews the flex pipe at the back of the toilet, at a property in Stanmore, HA7 - 13th December 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Harrow received an urgent call out today, after it was discovered, a rat had chewed through the flex pipe at the back of a toilet at a family home in Stanmore. Our team attended the property the same day and began with a full survey. We decided the best action would be to install a non-return flap in the sewage line, which would then prevent the rats from returning. Further to the non-return flap, we also started a rodent treatment plan, this would enable us to confirm that no rats were blocked into the property. We will visit again in one week to monitor the progress of the rodent treatment plan.

Damage to sewage line gives rodents easy access to a kitchen in Harrow, HA0, 14th October 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Harrow received a call from a client who was concerned that rats were entering the kitchen of her home in Harrow. We arrived at an agree time and completed an investigation. Issues were soon identified around the sewage line as this was observed to be damaged. Our team recommended a drain survey should be arranged, as well as the installation of a non-return flap in the line causing the issue, this will prevent the rodents using this to gain entry to the kitchen. A second visit to this property has been arranged to install the non-return flap.
Wasps nest halts roofers from working in Harrow, HA2,16th August 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Harrow received a call from a roofer in Harrow, he and his team were carrying out works on a roof when they noticed a high number of wasps present, they discovered two wasps’ nests under construction and called us immediately. The roofer expressed his concerns and the need for urgent treatment for them to continue working. We visited the site at an agreed time and were able to safely and efficiently treat both wasps’ nests and remove the nests from the roof.
Rodents await their fate in Harrow, HA0, 21st July 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Harrow were requested to carry out a site survey at a property in Harrow following reports of rat activity. Our specialist rodent team attended the property at an agreed time and carried out a full survey. We were able to identify numerous areas of access used by the rodents and uncovered further indications of nesting and evidence of gnawing, and fresh droppings. We discussed our survey findings and conclusion with our client. Using our experience and knowledge of rodents we were able to put together a recommended rodent treatment program tailored to the needs of this property in order to combat this current rat infestation. Our client had been issued a comprehensive report including the areas of concern and the evidence we uncovered, we also included a quote for the treatment to be carried out. We are currently waiting on approval to begin, and we hope to here back soon and get this property rodent free in the near future.
Nuisance rats burrowing in flower beds in Stanmore, HA7, 30th June 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Harrow received a call to attend a home in Stanmore where our client was frustrated with rodents burrowing in their flower bed and living under the shed. We found a suitable time for us to visit and conduct a survey. As agreed, we arrived the following day and was able to carry out a survey of the garden, we discovered a nest of rats living under the garden shed. On further inspection we noticed crumbs and bird seed dotted about garden. Our client explained that they love to feed the birds and foxes that visit their garden, we explained that this would be encouraging rodents to visit too. The treatment options were discussed, and a rodent treatment program was put in place, with the use of non-toxic traps. We will be visiting again in one week to check the progress of the rodent treatment program.
Carpet Moth munching on carpets in a home in Harrow, HA3, 9th June 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Harrow received a call from a returning customer in Harrow, the customer had noticed a multiply in moths in their home in addition to small areas of carpet becoming threadbare. We arrived and conducted a survey in which we noticed the carpet was most affected in dark areas of the room, we also discovered larvae which we could easily conclude carpet moth is responsible. Pestforce Pest Control Harrow received a call from a customer in Harrow. The customer was having an issue with rodents helping themselves to her pet rabbit’s food that was kept in her garden. We arrived at her home and completed a full survey; the survey results were suggestive of rats. We recommended a non-toxic method as a solution. We got to the property the same day and did a survey of the property. This found that they had mice but no external entry point from this property . We then contacted the neighbours and a survery was done around that property and identified 3 x possible entry point. We then began a non toxic method and placed traps in secure locations inside the properties to start dealing with the issue. The follow up visits are booked in.

Wasp nest removal at secondary school in Harrow - 24/09/2021
Pestforce Pest Control Harrow were called out by a local school in Harrow who we deal with under an annual pest contract. The school had an issue with a large wasp nest that the school caretaker was unable to deal with himself so they called the pest control professionals. We were able to attend that afternoon and treat the nest which was located on the eaves of a 2 storey outbuilding. The treatment was conducted while the students were in class and now the wasps are no more. The school always have my details on hand if they need me for additional pest control callouts.
Rats entering 17th century property - 23/10/2020
I had a call from a customer in the HA area . They have a lovely house from the 17th century and they started getting rats . They told me they have tried many home remedies but none have worked . So I explained the process that would be needed to deal with the issue . After the first visit and with a good survey of the property I was very confident on how the rodent had access to the property . So traps where set and a rat was caught . On the second visit to the property in the HA area the holes where blocked and it's has been few weeks since and no signs of any rodents. safe to say pestforce have done it again .
PPE in full use while carrying out rodent treatment in customer's home - 20/05/2020
Pestforce Pest Control Harrow had a call from customers from the HA postcode, they stressed to me on the phone that they had a rodent issue. after talking to them about the property and the times they are hearing the noises I had a good indication that it could be a rat issue. I got to the property that day and as I arrived i noticed the older gentleman trying to move a fridge inside. due to covid 19 the delivery driver would not take the fridge in to the house and had left . I said to the gentleman after i have started treatment for your rodent issue I will help you with your fridge as I have all the correct ppe. so after all possible entry point where found and traps placed in the loft I then turned my attention to the fridge, I removed the doors on the fridge to get it in to the house then re assembled after. its fair to say the customer was very grateful.
Rats not mice in Ruislip - 18/03/2020
Pestforce Harrow had a call from a couple in Ruislip (HA) about a possible mouse issue. We arranged a visit and after doing an inspection at the property in Ruislip (HA) I discovered that it was in fact rats and they had been helping themselves to the garlic and crisps. I also discovered the entry point to the property, it was a broken air brick. Traps where placed in secure locations under the kitchen units and follow up visits were arranged. On the second visit to the property in Ruislip (HA), I fixed the air brick and checked for any more holes. I removed dead rodents from the traps then reset for a final visit. As I returned to the property in the HA postcode for the final time the customer was very happy and had told me that no food had been taken and that they had not heard any more noises. I checked all the traps and there was nothing on them. I also checked all the tracking dust which showed no new movement. Finally, I checked the entry point and it was all still fixed. Another successful job done by Pestforce (HA).
Rodent infestation in local school - 1st March 2020
Pestforce Pest Control Harrow received a call from a commercial school contract in South Ruislip (HA) about a rodent that had got into the dining hall. The rat had decided he wanted hot dinners for lunch! After getting all of the info on the big, fat rat I was at the school in (HA) South Ruislip within the hour. On inspection the rat had run back behind a radiator cover and into the cavity wall. I removed the cover, set the traps and placed the cover back. This was ideal as the kids could not get near the traps and they were out of view too. Three days later I got a call from the school caretaker saying that he thought he could see an electrical cable. On closer inspection it was actually the big, fat rat caught on the trap. On the second visit to the school in (HA) South Ruislip I removed the dead rodent and checked for holes alongside the caretaker to get them sorted out. The school is rodent free once more.
Mice infestation in Harrow - 17th February 2020
Pestforce Pest Control Harrow had a phone call from a customer in the Ruislip area (HA) who had seen Pestforce on Google and had heard about our professional services. They needed assistance with a rogue mouse in the house. I responded within the hour and searched the house for this rogue mouse but as I was searching I noticed a lot of droppings, more evidence of mice, so I set out some traps and caught said rogue mouse almost instantly. But the job wasn't done there. I suggested to the customer that we leave some traps down for a second visit to see what would happen. Sure enough on the second visit to the property in Ruislip (HA) we caught 3 more mice. After removing the mice from the property I searched for entry points and found that there was lots of mortar missing. I repointed the building and left the traps for a third visit. When I returned there was no new evidence of mice. We had resolved the issue. Pestforce 4-0 rogue mice.
Rodents in my garage - 10th January 2020
A customer contacted Pestforce Pest Control Harrow, who was located in Ruislip (HA4), about a rat issue inside their garage. I attended the property within the hour from the phone call and discovered lots of rat activity in the garage. After a thorough investigation I discovered an open toilet pipe that had not been capped after the toilet was removed, so I placed some bait boxes down (non toxic) and ordered a pipe bung. The following visit I installed the pipe bung, removed the dead rodent and reset the traps. On the third visit I checked the garage for new activity and didn't find any. The traps had not been set off and the bung was still in place. It was fair to say the problem was solved and I had a very happy customer.
