Humane - I use a mix of modern and traditional pest control methods but I will not allow any animal or pest to suffer unnecessarily. Also, the methods I use are as far as possible safe for use around children and pets. As part of my comprehensive service, I will advise you of any special requirements before I begin treatment.

Qualified -  I hold several qualifications that allow me to operate as a licensed pest controller:

• I hold a Level 2 qualification in ‘Pest Control & Management’, a comprehensive course awarded by the Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH)
• Additional courses completed include gassing techniques, insect identification, bird proofing methods and technique, rodents and the use of pesticides
• I hold a full ‘shotgun and firearms’ certificate and licence
• I have a ‘Wildlife Management Certificate’ with excellent knowledge of control of many countryside animals such as moles, foxes, rabbits, squirrels and pigeons
• I am a member of the British Traditional Molecatchers Register (BTMR), an organisation that was started to promote the traditional (and humane) trapping and removal of the mole
• Trusted – I hold Public Liability Insurance up to £5 million (increasing to £10 million when shooting) but I also believe in staying up-to-date with current knowledge and pest control practices:
• I am an active member of the trade body British Pest Control Association (BPCA)
• I am also a member of the Derbyshire Trusted Traders meaning I have been fully vetted by Trading Standards and Derbyshire County Council

Safe wasp control near school grounds in Chesterfield, S40 - 08/07/23

Pestforce Chesterfield were called after a client found a large wasp nest in their hedge next to a school entrance and was concerned that children may be stung. We carried out the treatment the same day. The wasps were sorted before the children left school that evening the client was more than impressed by saying we are professional fast to respond with no drama.

Wasp control in Chesterfield, S42 - 04/07/23

Pestforce Chesterfield were called to treat a wasp nest underneath the roof tiles of a house. The tenant found up to 40 wasps in the bedroom. She was terrified and gave us a call at 5.00 am we arrived on site at 6.00am. We treated the wasp nest in the bedroom and eradicated the wasp nest underneath the roof tiles. Mole control in Glapwell, Chesterfield, S44 - 02/07/23

Pestforce Chesterfield were caledl onto treat a mole infestation in the rear garden. The mole was making the new lawn unstable due to the many tunnels the mole had dug. We installed traps and removed the mole in 48 hours. The client was very impressed with the service Pestforce Chesterfield provided and will be recommending us to others. 

Wasps on fascia in Clay Cross, Chesterfield - 29/06/23

Pestforce Chesterfield were called out to a job to treat a wasp nest in the facia boards just above the front door as the client was allergic to wasp sting. She was very worried so we arrived 20 minutes from receiving the call and eradicated the nest the same day. The client called us that evening to tell us she hasn't see any wasps and thanked us for our prompt no fuss service and will be recommending us to everyone. 

Wasp nest removal in Chesterfield, DE55 - 24/06/23

We got a call at 10.00 am arrived on site at 12.00 am and the wasp nest was underneath the front door porch making access for the tenant hazardous. We treated the wasps and we just received a text from our client saying the wasps are all gone job sorted in 8 hours.

Rodent control on a small holding in Bakewell, DE4 - 01/06/2023

Pestforce Pest Control Chesterfield were contacted by a small holder that was overrun with rats. This was affecting the quail to the point they stopped laying eggs. The chickens also suffering. We cleared the overgrown area and found over 40 burrows we have now got control of the rodent population in 5 days. The small holder is happy and the birds are happy.

Pigeon control on in Chesterfield, S40-  31/05/2023

We were call out to a pigeon infestation at a warehouse in Chesterfield. The pigeons are fouling the stock and making a mess on the floor making it unsafe for the staff. We located 3 areas the pigeons were using to enter the building we removed all pigeons out of the building and put-up pigeon netting to stop any more from gaining access to the building. The client was so impressed we now have a long term wild life management. contract with them

Beware the Xmas MICE... naughty or nice..?

Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat but in these pictures its the mice who are getting fat. One of my customers was devasted as the mice had started Christmas early by chewing on these selection boxes store in a garage the way they gained access in to the garage is a 6mm gap under the garage door so if you want the kids to enjoy there selection boxes this festive season store them in a good sealed container. Pestforce sort out "incorrect" mice treatmemt

We received a call from a customer in Chesterfield who had previously arranged for a pest controller to visit them after hearing some noises coming from the loft area of there home they arrived on time and surveyed the loft and shared their findings with the property owner and reported that it was a mouse issue and treated accordingly. This is what happened as a result of the incorrect diagnosis and treatment....

We were call by the home owner to make a site visit to assess the problem with the mice the picture above is a mouse bait station this contains the rodenticide to treat this infestation but the problem was not mice it was misdiagnosed it was rats and they had chewed though this very thick plastic container to get to the bait we removed all of the wrong equipment and replaced it the correct type for rats We treated this promptly for rats and eradicated them within 14 days and sealed up the entry point to stop any further rodent activity If you are looking for a professional pest control company make sore they are qualified in pest management or better still just give us a call.
