Pestforce Pest Control Sevenoaks attended a late callout after squirrels were reported nesting beneath rooftop solar panels. During the inspection, we found a large drey hidden behind damaged bird proofing mesh, along with several gaps allowing access under the panels. Using ladder access, we carefully removed the nest to ensure no animals were present. Fortunately, the drey was empty, although it had clearly been established for many months. We repaired the proofing around the solar panels and also cleared blocked guttering filled with debris discovered during the work. Before-and-after photos were provided on completion, and the customer was extremely pleased with the results. We have also offered to return and repair the damaged guttering using our existing access equipment.

A survey was carried out that identified two possible entry points, one to the front of the house where rats had dug down below the brickwork and found entry below the kitchen units and one to the rear where a plastic air brick had been smashed leaving a large hole that allowed access into the cavity wall between the two houses. Pestforce Pest Control Sevenoaks were called to a family home just outside Sevenoaks after the client had found a dead rat in their kitchen that was brought in by their cat. We attended and removed the rat the same day and while at the property conducted a pest survey. On inspection, we found evidence of rat activity under kitchen units which included rat droppings, smear marks, gnawing, visible entry points and smells associated with rat activity. To counter their clear rat problem we safelt installed multiple break back traps distributed under kitchen units. We also cleared away all rodent droppings and nesting materials and wash the affected area with a biocide disinfectant. We will check on the progress of our rodent riddance plan next week.
