About Me
Hi, I’m Henry Robinson, the person behind Pestforce Pest Control Harrogate.
I was born in Wiltshire and grew up in different parts of the UK, but Yorkshire is the place I call home. I’ve lived in North Yorkshire for the last seven years, as well as spending around eight years here growing up. For me, it’s the people, the sense of community and the slower pace of life that make it such a good place to live.
I live with my partner, our two children and our two dogs, Agatha the Labrador and Tucker the Jack Russell. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me clay pigeon shooting, camping, hiking on the moors or watching rugby and old war films. I also enjoy spending time at Thimbleby Shooting Ground, and Ripon has always been a particularly special place for me.
Farming has been a big part of my life. I wanted to be a farmer when I was growing up and went on to spend 15 years working in farm management. In 2019, I was named Farm Worker of the Year, something I’m still very proud of.
Pest control also runs in the family. My dad owns Pestforce Hull and East Riding, so I’ve seen first-hand how important it is to look after customers properly and build a local reputation based on trust.
If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m determined, passionate and caring. Family, friends and the future matter a lot to me. Reoccurring problem with rats - Harrogate – April 2019
Pestforce Pest Control Harrogate were called out to complete a survey for an elderly lady who had rats repeatedly burrowing in and around the flower beds in her garden. A detailed site survey identified that the problem had been reoccurring due to the rats burrowing up from the main sewer along a faulty drain and entering the garden. An appropriate treatment plan was agreed and this is currently being progressed to resolve the issue.
