When do I pay? For domestic work, I take payment upfront before starting treatment. It keeps things simple, avoids confusion, and gets the job moving straight away. For longer treatment plans or commercial contracts, everything’s agreed clearly in advance — including costs, visits and timescales — so there are no surprises.

Do you offer free surveys for domestic work? I charge a £75 survey fee for domestic callouts. This covers my time to come out, inspect the problem properly, and give you honest, professional advice. If you decide to go ahead with the recommended treatment plan, that £75 is waived — so it’s effectively free when you proceed with the job.

How long will I need to leave the house during treatment? Most of the time, you won’t need to leave at all. For flea or bed bug treatments, you’ll need to stay out of the property for around 4 hours while the treatment settles and the area’s ventilated. I’ll always give you clear instructions beforehand so you know exactly what to do and when it’s safe to go back in.

Rat infestation effectively controlled at a house in Gillingham, ME7 – 22nd June 2023

Bumblebee removal in a garden in Hempstead, Gillingham, ME7 – 22nd June 2023

Mouse caught on camera in kitchen, Gillingham, ME7 - 15th June 2023

Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham were contacted by a young couple who had recently purchased their first home. After hearing noises in the kitchen of an evening they decided to set up a camera. The next morning they found video evidence of mice scurrying across the kitchen floor. They contacted another local contractor who took on the job. After 4 weeks of continuous mouse activity their problem only got worse. Their original contractor was ignoring their calls and messages and no longer communicating with them. A full inspection was carried out by Pestforce Gillingham to identify what was happening. Bees in Gillingham, ME7 - 27th May 2023

Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham received an emergency call from a homeowner who returned one Saturday afternoon to find a swarm of bees on his front door. Unable to gain access to the property and trying to contact afew different pest professionals first, he contacted Pestforce Medway to explain the situation and other companies he had called either didn't pick up the phone or informed him they were unavailable. Call out for mice in house in Gillingham, ME7 - 24th April 2023

Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham were contacted for a home inspection after homeowners had seen mice scurrying in their kitchen and conservatory. One resident woke in the middle of the night to find a mouse on her duvet. Pestforce Medway conducted a full survey of the property and found mouse droppings over 3 floors in the home. An extensive treatment program was needed. A family member had stayed in the house for 3 months before moving on bringing with him storage and supplies used on equestrian land. Using both traps and rodenticide the treatment program was a huge success and now there are no more mice on the bed!

Rats in ceiling in Wigmore, Gillingham, ME8 - 18th April 2023

Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham were called in to investigate noises coming from wash room ceiling on ground floor. A full inspection of the property found evidence that rats were entering the property via the drain into the front extension. From there they had also made their way into the loft. After a successful treatment program Pestforce Medway were able to stop mote rats entering the home via the drain.

Bed bugs in Gillingham, ME7 - 14th April 2023

Bed bugs were found by Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham in a room in shared accommodation. After receiving a call from the property owner Pestforce Gillingham arrived the next day. The Bed bugs were found harbouring in the seams of the mattress, underside of the divan, behind the headboard and in crevices on the baseboards. Adults, nymphs, eggs, casings and excrement were all found. A successful treatment program consisting of 2 treatments controlled and eradicated the pests before they were able to spread further throughout the property. Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham received a call from a distressed homeowner who had seen a rat as big as a small dog run across her kitchen floor. Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham were called in after a new homeowner heard scratching and scurrying sounds coming from the loft. Inspection carried out by Pestforce Medway found squirrel droppings present along with ingress points in the roofline. Rat sighting in kitchen in Twydall, Gillingham, ME8 - 16th March 2023

Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham received a call from a terrified homeowner. After seeing a huge rat running across his kitchen floor and disappearing behind the kitchen cabinets. Pestforce Medway arrived within the hour to inspect and treat. Rat ingress point was located behind kitchen kickboards underneath floorboards. Source of the issue coming from neighboring terraced property. Upon completion of the rat treatment program the ingress point was sealed to help prevent a future reinfestation of rats from entering the property.

Bird nest in loft in Rainham, ME8 - 10th March 2023

Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham were contacted after a nest was found in the loft. Inspection revealed abandoned nest and hole in roof where the birds had gained access. The nest was disinfected and safely removed from the property to help stop the spread of disease. Hole was then sealed to help prevent any further pests gaining access to the property.

Mice in home in Gillingham, ME7 - 28th February 2023

Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham found heavy mouse activity in kitchen and dining room. Inspection of property revealed ingress points from neighbouring property through gaps at bottom of baseboards. Additional ingress points were found inside the home in behind kitchen kickboards. Eradication of mouse infestation completed the homeowner needed these entry points into the home sealed. Pestforce Medway sealed all ingress points to prevent a reinfestation from occurring.

Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham were called in to take a look for a wasp nest found in loft. After recently moving in to their first home these homeowners didn't know what to do. Flies in house in Rainham, ME8 - 20th December 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham were contacted by a frustrated homeowner reporting fruit flies throughout numerous rooms in the home. Inspection identified drain flies not fruit flies. Pestforce Pest Control Gillingham received a call for scratching noises coming from kitchen/dining room ceiling. Inspection revealed evidence of droppings and smell of urine underneath floorboards on second floor and in loft crawl space. Traps and rodenticide placed to control and eradicate activity. Follow ups revealed activity has now ceased and ingress point through damage air flow brick is now sealed to prevent new infestation.
