Camberley Mole Control

Moles naturally live in woodland, and as a result of their poor eyesight and dislike of light, we rarely see them. We only know they are there due to the molehills they create as they tunnel new corridors and burrows beneath our feet. They are fairly social animals with each other, with the many communal tunnels that connect they all use. However, should a mole encroach too far in to the territory of another, then there are consequences for the intruder!

Moles eat insects, worms being their favourite. They have a toxin in their tongue that paralyses the worm on contact. Moles are not an issue until they start to invade our green spaces such as bowling greens, sports pitches, and domestic gardens as well as the landscaped green spaces of many stately homes etc. In fact, it is sometimes the artificial landscaped areas that ‘attract’ moles; the soil, if fed rich fertiliser attracts worms, followed closely by the predatory mole.

When we start to build on and utilise woodlands and other green or brown field sites, moles are forced to look for new tunnelling venues. This is when we get calls from irate gardeners and grounds men!

We believe in humanely trapping and relocating moles; there is no reason to exterminate them. But there is also work left to do back at the tunnels. They need effective sealing as vacant tunnels will simply become a home to another mole, and the problems remain.

Rat colonies in Bagshot Park - 06/03/2021

Pestforce Camberley have been tasked with ressolving a large scale rat problem in Bagshot Park, Camberley. Multiple rat colonies are living underground in this park and our technician is currently carying out a baitng programme to ressolve the issue. Our technician has also provided his contact details to local residents to offer advice about how they can avoid rats entering their properties. So far, the treatment is being very effective and the rat problem is now under more control. 

Long standing rat problem in Yateley - 19/02/2021

Following a full survey, Pestforce Camberley identified the source of a 15 year ongoing rat issue at a property in Yateley. A serious ingress point had gone unnoticed on the side of the property that was allowing the entry of rodents. The rat infestation was eradicated by our technician after a course of baiting and full proofing carried out. Job done, a very happy customer.
