About Toby Neilson – Your Local Pest Controller
I was born in Kingston upon Thames and grew up in Worcester Park until I was 11, before moving down to the West Country. I've lived in the area for 27 years now, and it means a great deal to me — it's genuinely home. I share my life with my partner and our lively pack of 10 dogs, a mix of lurchers and terriers, and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
Before moving into pest control, I worked as a bricklayer from the age of 16 after leaving school. Over the years I worked on large construction sites as well as carrying out plenty of private work around people's homes. That background gave me a strong work ethic, a practical mindset, and a good understanding of buildings and the way properties are put together. I have always taken pride in turning up, working hard, and doing a job properly.
Moving into pest control felt like a natural progression for me. My interest in country sports and fishing helped lead me into the industry, and it suits me well because I enjoy working outdoors and doing work that also helps protect the environment. What I enjoy most is the job satisfaction. It is a great feeling to know I have helped someone and provided a service that has delivered real results.
I particularly enjoy dealing with rodents, birds, moles, and foxes. Every job is different, and I take real satisfaction in solving problems and helping people get back to normal.
