Hornets spotted building nest around a bay window in Grantham, NG31, 16th September 2022
Pestforce Pest Control were called and attended a property in Grantham where the occupants had reported increasing numbers of wasps entering and leaving from a small gap around the bay window at the front of their home. The occupants were concerned that there was a wasp nest present and wanted us to eradicate it. On our arrival we began by completing a survey and noticed that these were actually hornets. Our team are very experienced in the treatment of both wasps’ nests and hornets’ nests, we set to work immediately with the use of a professional insecticide spray applied both into the gap and around it, this will allow the hornets to take the product into the nest to ensure it is completely eradicated.
Wasps terrorise a family at their home in Grantham, NG31, 17th August 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Grantham received a call from a father who was concerned about the high level of wasp activity in the garden of his home in Grantham. The father also reported that a large number of wasps had been discovered flying in and out of a gap where the soffit boards meet the brickwork, this would be suggestive of a wasp nest under construction in the loft area. We arrived at the agreed time and began our survey in the loft space, we couldn’t identify a nest due the insulation being in the way. Evidence noted would suggest the nest is in the soffit and facia board. We treated this nest from the outside of the property with an insecticide spray directly into the hole they were seen going in and out of, this spray will then be taken into the nest and successfully eradicate it. This home will be wasp free in the next few days.
Wasps spotted entering loft space in Grantham, NG31 - June 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Grantham were called to attend a property in Grantham where wasps had been sighted gaining entrance to a loft space. We arrived swiftly and upon inspection we discovered a small wasp nest in the loft. The wasps had used the facia boards as a route into the loft space, as the vent cover was missing. We were able to treat and remove the wasp nest in addition to re-fitting the vent cover to help protect from wasps finding their way in , in the future.
Surveyor finds woodworm in a property in Grantham, NG32 - June 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Grantham were called in to help when a surveyor discovered evidence of woodworm in a property in Grantham. We arrived at the property, and we thoroughly inspected the area of infestation. We identified woodworm on the roof beams in the loft space. We suggested an insecticide treatment plan, which was initiated straight away. The insecticide treatment soaks into the wood eradicating the current infestation, whilst continuing to work to prevent a reinfestation of the wood in the future.
Loose air brick opens the door for rats in Grantham, NG13 - May 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Grantham attended a property in Grantham following a call from a landlord who had concerns about rodents. Our team arrived and conducted a full survey of the property, this concluded there was a rat infestation. We discovered the rats had found their way under the floor of the property through a loose air brick before making their way into the kitchen. Our team advised a rodent treatment plan to bring the infestation under control. The rodent treatment plan was initiated immediately. We have a further visit booked, during which, we will monitor the progress of the rodent treatment plan and ensure that the airbrick is securely fitted to prevent the rats from returning.
Moles cause chaos and mess in a garden in Grantham, NG13 - April 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Grantham received a call from a client in Grantham area. Moles were causing a problem in their garden. Our team arrived at their home and conducted an external survey. There was ample evidence to demonstrate that moles were active in the garden. Not only had they made a mess, but they had also dug through a gravel seating area. We discussed our recommended plan of action with the client, and we commenced immediately. On the second visit there was no further mole activity in the garden. The client can now enjoy their garden without the moles causing mess and chaos.
Noises in loft in Grantham - March 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Grantham were recently called to a property where the customer had been hearing noises in the loft space at night and thought it must be rodents in the roof space, We attended the property and carried out a survey of the loft space but no evidence of rodents were found just signs of a birds nest in the corner of the roof space where the customer had been hearing nosies and bird droppings could be seen on the brickwork on the outside so they have birds nesting which are protected, the customer was happy and relieved to find that they didn't have rats in the loft.
New pest control contract for food outlet in Grantham - February 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Grantham recently agreed a pest control service contract for a takeaway restaurant in Grantham. After a 3 visit clearance program to get rid of rats that hadn't been delt with by the previous owner the takeaway is now pest free and proofing measures will be carried out to prevent rats from gaining entry again and a contract will be in place to monitor and stop any problems in the future.
