Wasp’s nest treated successfully in tricky to reach location in Taunton, TA4, 8th September 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Taunton were called to attend a family home in Taunton, where the owners had reported seeing wasps entering and leaving from underneath some roof tiles behind the conservatory roof. Our highly experienced team arrived at an agreed time to investigate these wasps, as always on our arrival an initial inspection was undertaken. The owners were advised that the area the wasps were using to enter and leave, was in a tricky position due to access being restricted. Our team are incredibly experienced in the successful treatment of wasps and were able to apply insecticide dust to the tiles where the wasps could be seen. Our clients were advised to keep all windows and doors closed until wasp activity begins to slow, within 72hours we would expect all the wasps from this nest to have been successfully eradicated.
Another successful wasp’s nest treated in Taunton, TA3, 1st August 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Taunton received a call from a client concerned about high levels of wasp activity around the soffit boards of their home in Taunton. A few hours later our team arrived and immediately identified the area of wasp activity. There were numerous wasps seen entering a small crack in the wooden soffit boards just below the guttering. This level of wasp activity would indicate that there is a wasp nest present, or a wasp nest under construction. Our team have plenty of experience in the treating wasps’ nests and set to work straight away, using their knowledge and experience of wasp nest treatments and use of insecticides this wasp’s nest was treated safely and effectively. We left one very relieved client, who has now added us to their phonebook for future reference.

Wasps sighted emerging from behind soffit board in Taunton, EX13, 16th July 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Taunton received a call and attended a property in Taunton, where the occupants had noticed an increase in wasp activity just below the roof tiles, wasps appeared to be emerging from behind the soffit board. We arrived and conducted a survey, although there was a lot of wasp activity, no wasp nest was identified. This could indicate that the occupants acted quickly, before the wasps were able to construct a nest. Our team treated the wasps with a suitable product, mindful of children and pets around the property. Happy clients, wasp free.
Rats visit a staff room in Taunton, TA2 - 31st May 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Taunton were called to attend a business premises in Taunton. Rat droppings had been discovered and they had tried to solve the issue with rodenticide. Due to it being an ongoing issue, they decided to ask for professional support and asked us to inspect the staff room and seek out possible routes of entry. Our team carried out an inspection of the staff room and surrounding areas of the building, no visible signs of rat were present. Having completed our inspection we concluded that the rats were using the gap under the main door as a point of entrance to the staff room. Our client will be getting this gap seen to in the near future to prevent rodents from entering.
Bedbug treatment in Taunton - 20th February 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Taunton were called out after a family home in Taunton had a serious bedbug infestation in their home. We carried out a Polti Cimex Eradicator Steam treatment applied as follows:- 4 Bedrooms plus room down stairs used as bedroom including mattresses, wardrobes, curtain, drawers, shelves, furniture and pictures. Also 2 common rooms off hallway and kicthen. Residual Insecticide applied to all carpeted areas excluding bathrooms and kitchen. After some additional follow up treatments we are proud to say we have rid the home of bedbugs.
Mouse in the house in Taunton - 31st January 2022
Pestforce Pest Control Taunton received a message in the evening the other day from a local resident in Taunton who had found mouse droppings in their property. We gave the client some simple advice and scheduled them in for a rodent survey of their home at their earliest convenience. We uncovered clear evidence of mouse activity with new mouse droppings found in the lounge area. To get rid of the mouse problem we set up a bespoke 3 visit riddance programme combining poison rodent baits and mouse traps. We have since concluded our treatment and the infestation has been effectively eradicated. The client was delighted for the fast response of our Taunton mouse control services.
Mice control for building firm in Taunton - 31st October 2021
We received a report that mice had been seen by builders whilst carrying out extensive renovation work. On inspection evidence of mice could be seen, so a number of traps placed in various strategic locations. On inspection the following day 2 mice caught and the traps re set awaiting next mice to feast.
Wasp nest in eaves of barn conversion in Taunton - 8th October 2021
Pestforce Pest Control Taunton treated an angry wasp nest in the eaves of an old barn conversion in Taunton. The nest had formed over the space of a few days and had started to become a real nuisance for the residents. We attended the property an hour after the callout came to us. The nest was treated there and then and a confirmation from the client a day or so later they confirmed the treatment had been effective and the wasps were gone.
Mole control in Taunton - 9th September 2021
Following a telephone call regarding moles digging up a lawn, we inspected a large lawn area and found mole hills in 2 separate locations so instigated a programme of treatment. 3 tunnel traps were sited in 3 tunnels found in each location. On inspection three days later the traps had done their job and 2 moles had met their maker, resulting in a pleased customer and a mole free lawn.
Flea problem in carehome in Taunton - 3rd September 2021
Pestforce Pest Control Taunton were called to a local carehome after an elderly resident was reporting being bitten to the staff. It was evident that cat fleas had infested the room. The cat had recently been treated so we attended to treat the room. The resident's belongings had been cleaned and she had moved rooms. We hoovered all affected areas and then set about treating the room with an insecticidal residual spray to treat the fleas. This is a very effective solution for killing fleas however we left some insect monitors in the room to be confident the issue has properly been resolved.
