Mice in Cricklewood

Rodent infestations can result in damage to both furniture, fittings and the building fabric at great financial cost in some instances.  Following a call to a domestic home in the NW9 area I found that mice chewed through wiring insulation serving the boiler. This could have resulted in electrocution or even cause a fire.   I commenced a rodent treatment bait programme which utilised professional use rodenticides followed by proofing of the entry points which eradicated the infestation

A landlord with a few properties in the area got in touch with me regarding a bed bug infestation in one of his properties that the tenants had unsuccessfully tried to self treat for the past month.   Further inspection found that the tenants had made openings in their divan bed bases to store food items!  As bed bugs are habitually crack and crevice creatures the timber divan frames provided the perfect harbourage to allow them to thrive. Wasps in a Colindale loft

I responded to the typical call of wasps coming out of the light fittings in the upper floors of the property. Inspection of the loft area found a pillow sized nest located up against the eaves.  Taking care not to fall through the floor in an unboarded loft the nest was quickly dealt with!
