Mice and rats invade holiday let in Hereford, HR5 - 10th May 2023

Pestforce Hereford was contacted by a client that had a problem with mice and rats in a tenant’s cottage and an issue with rats at a holiday let on the estate. They needed us to start treatment as soon as possible as the cottage was soon to be let out. We were able to attend the next day and start the treatment. We could see that the rats were burrowing under the barn that had been converted into a cabin for holiday lets. We acquired the dates of the lettings so we could schedule our follow up visits to fit around any lettings over the next few weeks.

Rats destroy car in Hereford, HR7 - 20th March 2023

Pestforce Hereford was contacted by a very irate client who had had a very expensive bill for repairs to his car where the rats had eaten his wiring under his car bonnet. We attended site and could see evidence of where the rats were harbouring and where they were traveling to and from. We set out bait boxes we eradicated the rodents in 3 visits and advised the client to fit a brush strip to the bottom of his garage door to stop any furth visitor getting under the door into his garage

Mice control for family home in Hereford, HR3 - 20th February 2023

Pestforce Hereford was contacted by a client we had help with another issue last year. She was seeing mouse droppings in the kiddies play room We attended the property at a time that was convenient to her. We surveyed the property and found evidence of mice in the attics in the house and on the second floor of the house. We also pointed out to the client that the mice were probably gaining access into the house through the ornate air vents on this very old stone-built property and have advised ways of proofing them without detracting from there ornate look. We have started treatment with bait trays in the attic spaces and traps in boxes in the living areas as they have small children and was the safest option. We have arranged a follow up visit to suit the client.

Wasps entering home in Dormington, Hereford, HR1 - 25th November 2022

Pestforce Hereford was contacted by a client that was having a problem with wasps getting into the house. When we arrived on site we found that the wasps were accessing the roof through a broken ridge tile. We treated the site with insecticide dust under the ridge tiles using the extension poles.

Noises in the loft in Hereford, HR4 - 28th October 2022

Pestforce Hereford was contacted by a lady who was hearing noises in her roof space. We organised to attend the property at a time and date that was convenient to the client. When we attended the property we found that the noises were squirrels getting into the roof space. We set traps in the roof space and will return to check traps. Client advised not to enter roof space while trapping is underway. We also pointed out the areas that the squirrels were gaining access and advised she gets these holes filled by here builder.

Bees in the chimney in Hereford, HR1 - 26th September 2022

Pestforce Hereford was contacted by a lady that had bees in one of her disused chimneys. They have been there for a few years and had not been a problem, but this year they were finding there way into the house and causing a problem. We attended the property at a time and day that was convenient for the client. We explained that as the bees had been there for a few years the best action would be to have a specialist bee removal man to attend and remove the bees and then remove the honey comb from the site so that there would be no honey left to attract more bees from moving in. This would also stop any damage inside the property from the old honey seeping through the brickwork. We took pictures of the site and sent to the bee removal expert that we use and trust and he contacted the client to discuss what needed to be done.

New wasp nest in garden in Hereford, HR1 - 11th September 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford was contacted by a client we had helped last year. He was having trouble again with a wasp nest in the garden of his hotel that was in a public area. We were able to attend the next day and destroy the nest. He was very happy that we were able to attend so quickly.

Pestforce Hereford was contacted by a client we were able to help last year as she had a wasp nest in the ground in the garden of one of her holiday lets. We were able to attend that afternoon so the wasp nest was destroyed before her clients arrived that weekend. Client was very happy that her guest would be safe to use the beautiful garden

Moth survey and treatment for home in Hereford, HR1 - 7th August 2022

Pestforce Hereford was contacted by a client that was having trouble with moths in her home. We attended at a time that was convenient to her. We surveyed the property and advised the client as to what needed to be done. We advised the client that she would have to empty all her furniture of cloths and wash on a hot wash or have them dry cleaned. We then attended the property hovered all the house them we sprayed all the rooms and furniture with insecticide spray. We then fogged all rooms including the attic space with insecticide. We advised the client to stay away from the house until the spray had dried and not to hover or wash the floors or carpets for 2 weeks. Client was very happy that we could accommodate her so quickly at a time that was convenient to her.

Protecting cottage from squirrels in Hereford, HR3 - 30th July 2022

Pestforce Hereford were contacted by a lady who had squirrels entering her roof space of her beautiful cottage. We checked the roof space and we played 2 squirrel traps in the area. We also placed a good nature squirrel trap in a tree that the squirrels have been seen to use to entre the house.

Hereford hornet control for hornets nest inside wall, HR1 - 25th July 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were contacted to deal with a hornets nest in the wall of the clients house. We were able to attend the same day and deal with the issue. We treated with insecticide dust and advised the client to keep away from the area for the rest of the day and also to keepthe dog in.

Rat treatment for bin store in Hereford, HR4 – 17th July 2022

Pestforce Hereford was called by a kiddies play barn in Hereford. They had been seeing rats around the outside bin area. We were able to attend the next morning. We put bait boxes in place for a 3 visit treatment with bait and advised the client to make sure no loose rubbish bags to be placed by bins and to make sure the lids are shut at all times. Next visit is booked in for next week. Client very happy with our service.

Rodents in loft cause worry for Hereford customer, HR1, 14th June 2022

Pestforce Pest Control received a call from a customer who needed help as he had visitors coming to stay the following week and he has been hearing noises in the roof. The client had previously call a national company as he thought they would be more reliable but they had let him down with no explanation. We were able to attend the very next day and found that he has got squirrels in the attic and mice in a down stairs cupboard. We have placed Fen traps in the attic space and also bait trays at the clients request as he was worried there may be mice in the roof aswell. We placed mouse trap in downstairs cupboard too and have arranged 2nd visit before their guest arrive next week.

Hereford ant control for patio door entry point, HR2, 9th June 2022

A customer called Pestforce Pest Control Hereford as we had helped him successfully last year. He was getting ants in his front room and needed our Hereford ant control service. As the client worked and was away from home during the week, we were able to attend on Saturday morning at a time convenient for him. We could see that the ants were coming through his patio door. We placed ant gel stations behind furniture in the front room and we sprayed the whole of the patio area with insecticide. We advised the client to clear up any spills as soon as possible and he was really happy that we could accommodate a time that was convenient for him.

Carpet moth causes trouble in Hereford, HR3, 7th June 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were called to attend a property in Hereford where carpet moth was causing trouble throughout the upstairs of the property. Carpet moth can eat through carpet at incredible speed, feeding on the keratin present in the fibres. Our team arrived and conducted a survey of the upstairs area, looking for signs of activity. We identified threadbare patches, which usually appear in dark areas and under furniture, in addition larvae and adult moths. We advised our client of the treatment plan needed to eradicate the problem moths and larvae and have provided them with a quote, which includes all safety information and the items what will need to be removed from the rooms that require treatment.

Pigeons cause chaos in a care home in Hereford, HR4, 23rd May 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were called to attend a care home in Hereford where pigeons were causing chaos. The pigeons were fouling around the building, resulting in blocked drains and mess being carried into the building on peoples’ shoes. We completed a full investigation and identified the pigeons nesting under the eves of the building and roosting on the ledges during the day. We have discussed the options available with our client and will be able to return to install some bird spiking and proofing once the birds have finished nesting.

Poultry farm wants to keep rodents to a minimum, Hereford, HR6, 10th May 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were called to support a poultry farm in Hereford. The poultry farm asked us for an annual contract to help prevent any major rodent infestations. We were able to the visit the site and set out a clear plan to help keep rodents at bay. As with all of our contracts we will keep records of visits and leave a plan and records of our visits onsite too. Rodent control has now commenced on this poultry farm.

Rats visiting neighbouring garden in Hereford, HR3, 28th April 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were called out to investigate the sightings of rats in a garden in Hereford. We arrived at the home and conducted an external survey. We advised and commenced a 3-visit rodent treatment plan. The rodent infestation, however, appears to be overflowing from the neighbouring garden. We tried to contact the occupant of the neighbouring property to no avail. The client will be contacting them and we hope to update on this situation in the very near future.

Rat control for greenhouse and veg garden in Hereford, HR3 - 17th April 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford took a call from a local resident who thought that rabbits were getting into her green house and veg garden. We attended and advised that it was actually rats. We have started a baiting program. So far the client is happy with how the service has been carried out. We are always available for new and existing clients. 

Badger proof fence in Hereford, HR4 – 5th April 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were contacted earlier in the year by a client who was having trouble with badgers digging her lawn up. We attended site and the only option was to electric fence around the lawn as badger set was on the boarder of the client’s garden and fencing them out of the garden was not something they wanted to do. We set up the electric fencing and the client rented the equipment from us at a monthly rate. We checked batteries and replaced when needed. The client was very happy with the remedy as the badgers have stopped coming in her garden. We have now removed the electric fencing and client happy to monitor and if the problem re occurs we will look into a permanent solution that is more pleasing to the eye.

Squirrels leaping into bedroom in Hereford, HR2 - March 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were called again to a lovely lady in Hereford who is being plagued with squirrels which she really disliked.We have caught 5 squirrels and proofed any visible holes. She is still seeing them in here garden and as she likes to have her windows open she was worried about them getting into her bedroom. She wanted some advise as to how she could still have her window and not worry about them coming in her room. We have advised her to get a magnetic fly screen for her bedroom window. She is going to try it.

Squirrels traps in Hereford, HR1 - March 2022

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were called out by a client who had a reocurring problem with squirrels in their roof space and has tried themselves to clear the problem. When we arrived we could see areas that the squirrels could access loft space. Traps were set and we returned 4 days later and had caught 3 squirrels. We reset traps and then returned in 3 days. With no more squirrels caught, we proofed the roof space so there was no more access to the roof space. The client was very happy.

A client called Pestforce Pest Control Hereford as she was having trouble with squirrels in her roof, which were eating her roof trusses and making a terrible noise. We set squirrel traps in her roof and in the garden. We caught three squirrels and ascertained where the squirrels were getting in. The client has had the roof proofed so should have no more trouble with these nuisance squirrels.

We were contacted by a contractor to attend a commercial premises in Hereford to look at doing some bird proofing to the front of the shop. It will be spikes and Netting. The enquiry was from the contractor who will be doing the refurbishments. We have put our tendered price in for consideration

Mice in loft and rats in garden in Hereford, HR1 - November 2021

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were called to help a young couple living in Hereford after they had started hearing noises in the attic space during the night. We attended and found evidence of mice in the roof space and rats in the garden. We have put rat boxes in the garden and Bait trays in the roof space. After 3 visits the mice and rats were no longer present and client not hearing any more noises in the night.

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford was contacted by a client we had helped with an ant problem earlier in the year as they were seeing rats in the garden of their property in Hereford. We attended and advised that we could place bait boxes on visible runs, but the client must take all bird feeding stations away during the treatment to restrict their available food source. We treated for the agreed 3 visits and bait has stopped being taken and runs are not showing any use. We have advised that the neighbours will need to treat for rats as well as they are seeing rats in the hedges. We will return in a week and access the situation.

Fly infestation in home in Hereford, HR1 - October 2021

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were called to a large house in HR1 to dealing with their fly infestation. We surveyed situation and organised to return at a time and day convenient to the client to carry out trearment. We used our fogging machine to deal with the cluster flies in the attic. They were also having trouble with flies around and in the window frames, so we painted a residual insecticide onto all windowsills and patio door frames.

Mice invade town house in Hereford, HR2 - October 2021

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were called by a client who heard mice in the loft space. We were able to attend the next day and from there undertook our inpsection to check for mouse activity. Evidence was apparent and we placed bait trays placed in the loft area. We returned for a second visit at the client's convenience where we found a good uptake on bait. Dead mice removed and the next visit has been booked in. So far the client has reported no more noise in the loft. A final follow up visit will confirm if the infestation was been successfully erradicated.

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were called by a client who was having trouble with squirrels in her loft. We were able to attend the same day. The squirrels were gaining access through a broken vent in the soffit. We set traps in roof and after 4 visits caught 4 Squirrels. The client is having air vents replaced and limb of tree removed where squirrels were gaining access to her roof. Another very happy client in Hereford.

Hornet nest destroyed in Hereford - September 2021

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford were called to help a family who had a large hornets nest in their back garden. The hornets nest was bothering the family dog and after a quick inspection we identified the nest was within a tree trunk. We treated the nest and now the family have told us the hornets are no more. 

Pest control for 300yr old luxury home in Hereford - September 2021

Pestforce Pest Control Hereford have been carrying out pest control for a 20+ bedroom home in Hereford after it had been suffering from some pest problems. Our first visit involved treating a wasp nest which had been build withing the fabric of downstair's room wall. This was an effective same day treatment. Our more recent visit has involved planning a fumingation treatment in the attic to ressolve an ongoing cluster fly infestation.
